InstantVap 18V Original - Premium oxalic acid vaporiser with battery operation

The InstantVap 18V Original with battery operation is a professional and cordless oxalic acid vaporiser. It is compatible with battery systems from Makita® LXT, Bosch® GBA/ProCore 18V, Parkside® X20V-TEAM, Einhell® Power X Change, Metabo® 18V, Milwaukee® M18, Dewalt® XR 18/20V and FlexVolt 20/60V or 18/54V. This vaporiser is also suitable for both professional and hobby beekeepers. The Original InstantVap 18 is manufactured in Hungary to an excellent quality standard and offers very good value for money compared to the oxalic acid sublimator Varrox® Eddy from Andermatt BioVet.  

One of the fastest sublimators

The InstantVap 18V is probably one of the fastest battery-powered sublimators on the market. In addition, the oxalic acid vaporiser with an 18V battery reaches the manufacturer's recommended and pre-set target temperature of 230°C in approx. 3 minutes. We therefore recommend not changing the set temperature of 230 °C under any circumstances, even if significantly lower temperatures are mentioned on the Internet and in specialist forums. Nevertheless, it is important to adhere to the specified temperature as it is based on proven empirical values and therefore ensures optimum results. However, it is possible to change the desired set temperature on the control unit of the InstantVap 18V Original without any problems. The temperature is based on proven empirical values and is optimised for the best treatment result. Once the set temperature has been reached, all bee colonies can be treated one after the other without waiting. The treatment time per colony is only approx. 30 seconds. The reason for this is the closed system in which the oxalic acid vaporises. Due to the short treatment time per hive, the InstantVap 18V can easily treat over 100 colonies per day. Approx. 1 Ah is required to heat up the InstantVap 18. After that, 1 Ah is sufficient for around 10 oxalic acid treatments of 2 grams each at an ambient temperature of 20 °C. A 4 Ah battery is therefore sufficient for treating up to 30 hives. However, the battery must have a capacity of at least 3Ah.
